Candy Blocks Typing Practice: Lesson 3.2 for Kids

Welcome to the Candy Blocks Typing series! You’ll see a short paragraph on the screen. Read it first if you like, then type every letter, word, and sentence just the way it appears in the box below.

Take your time and go at your own speed. Type carefully to match the paragraph exactly. The paragraph you will type is about a candy world:

“I woke up in a candy land. I gathered chocolate chunks, crafted sweet tools. I built a house from colorful candy blocks. I picked jelly beans from bushes. Then I explored lollipop paths and built tall licorice towers.”

Why practice typing this way?

Typing the same paragraph several times helps your fingers get faster and more accurate. You start to know where the keys are without looking down. Regular practice makes typing school work quicker, writing stories, answering questions, or typing lists on the computer. Your thoughts come out more easily because you spend less time hunting for letters. It builds confidence and helps with spelling because you type the words correctly over and over. The more you practice, the smoother typing feels.
